Princeton Chicken Fling

Every year in the nearby town of Princeton, there is a rubber chicken-flinging contest.

Conclude what you may.

This was the first year I was able to attend.  My friends Jen and Rene and I went to see Emily and Emma as they ran their facepainting booth there.

Seeing as it was Emily's birthday, I brought her a beautiful chocolate and vanilla bean chiffon cake.  And it seeing as it was 80+ degrees, by the time I handed her this treat...well...replace "beautiful" with "oozing" and "cake" with "puddle that swallowed up its own candles."

Anyway, it was a small event with just a few vendors (chicken and beer, of course), but we thought we'd try our hand in the Adult Fling.  The chickens had seen a lot of action and the heads were quite sticky with kid juice and who knows what else.

Our chickens didn't make it through the mini goal posts, but we still had a good time.  You know, posing with the Elvis Chicken and everything.
